favorite photos from August

(wow that month went fast)

I've been doing a lot of reading

love these - and they are non-political - good to start off with

also this adorable little girl with such a great face paint job
everyone can appreciate

love this
it would be cool if in the space of each state only contained information about that state
or maybe authors from that state

wouldn't this be great for kids?

you could do Europe, Africa, any continent or part of one would work

then again kids today....

doesn't look like they would be much into building a book shelf

great painting of the lighthouse in our old town
thanks Michael Hale

I want to hang out here for awhile
I have always had a trailer fetish

I am so proud of my friends at Oregon Wild
for coming up with this TRUE and ACCURATE campaign

I don't think people realize the pressure there is to cut the trees on public land
these are some of the last big stands of trees and we the people own them
but they are being managed by timber interests

it is such a shame to cut down the trees
they are so much more valuable growing and producing oxygen
we are talking about PUBLIC lands

thanks John

the view from Mars

kind of puts things into perspective

so does this
