cake of the week

 

 

 we ran out of time this week and bought the frosting

(I think it is the first frosting I ever bought...)

 

we just wanted the smooth frosting experience

and it worked like a charm
the drop lines were "sooooo much easier"

 

 

 

the theme of this cake was the ocean

(all your cakes have themes - right?)

 

the blue top was the waves

 

 

and the bottom was pink for the reef

 

it was these guys on top though that made me realize

just how clever and creative this child is

 

she cut the strawberries to look like sharks

and put the little pieces in their mouths to look like fish

 

they were adorable - little eyes

too cute

 

she thought of everything on her own

a little cake bossette for sure

 

I am so impressed

okay so we will never buy the horrible poison dyed frosting again

promise

(though it was "really fun")

 

so we are looking for frosting recipes

for next week

and we are thinking - cupcakes
